How the Breath and I became close friends
I began meditating in 2004 and discovered Breathwork in 2015 after a severe burn-out. Since then, it has helped me alleviate stress, enhance my immune system, increased my overall well-being and so much more.
I am a certified Breathwork Instructor with over 520 hours of training in conscious connected breathing, functional breathing at work or sports and more energy and happiness in your life. I have studied Breathwork for nearly a decade and it is part of my daily routine. What can I say? I love it! It's potentially a light obsession ;-)
On the top photo, you see Katia Boustani, who was not only my great mentor, but is a trained psychotherapist and one of very few Breath Coaches with more than 35 years of dedication to Rebirthing Breathwork and someone who worked directly with Leonard Orr, the founder of Rebirthing Breathwork, over many years. From her I earned my credential as a Breathwork Therapist.
On the bottom photo, you can see Patrick McKeown, bestselling author, founder of Oxygen Advantage and in my opinion on of very few people worldwide with a profound scientific knowledge of everything and anything around the Breath. Patrick's knowledge around hypoventilation is very safe and integrates well into other schools of breath. I am a certified Oxygen Advantage Level 2 Instructor.
Over the years I have come across, tested and worked with further breath work modalities (Buteyko, Pranayama, Soma Breath, Wim Hof) that I find most useful for busy individuals with little time - like me.
After working with multiple clients over the years and seeing the impact, I have have decided to work a 4 day work week and invest more time and energy into sharing this gift with more people, particularly in the corporate world!
By integrating the elements of Functional Breathing, Rebirthing Breathwork, ancient Pranayama and scientific breathwork modalities, I specifically address those of us with hectic lifestyles. As a senior manager, who has navigated the high-paced corporate world for 15 years now, I understand how to blend breathing techniques to help you feel more relaxed and focused both at work and in other aspects of your life.
